About me
Hello! I'm Francisco Miguel Castro Macías, but everybody knows me as Fran Castro. I'm pursuing a Ph.D. in Computer Science. I am interested in the intersection of mathematics and computer science. My research is focused on developing innovative probabilistic models for solving weakly supervised and inverse problems, with applications in the medical field.
In 2021, I earned dual degrees in Computer Science and Mathematics from the University of Granada. The following year, I earned a Master's Degree in Data Science and Computer Engineering from the same institution. Since July 2022, I am a member of the Visual Information Processing Group within the Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Department at the University of Granada. My supervisors are Rafael Molina Soriano, Pablo Morales Álvarez and Aggelos K. Katsaggelos.
